Hi! This is my eighteenth year of teaching biology. It is my fourteenth year in Summit. I graduated in 1982 from Delaware Valley College with a B.S. in Animal Science, after which I went to work at Ciba Geigy in Summit as a Research Scientist. When I started a family I stayed at home and ran a home daycare business for ten years. I started teaching in 1998 and earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2002.
In December, 2006 I completed my second masters, a Master of Science in Educational Technology from Ramapo College. I am also an adjunct professor for Ramapo.
I was a resident of Summit for 27 years and have 3 children. Anna is a graduate of Boston College and now lives and works in Manhattan. Mike is a graduate of East Carolina University and also works in the city. Anthony is a graduate of Susquehanna University. I also have 2 dogs, Coal and Diamond.
